ABUJA, FCT – April 27, 2026 – The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially released a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 General Elections, signaling an accelerated push toward next year’s polls.

The amended schedule, signed by the Party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, OFR, introduces key changes to the electoral roadmap. According to the statement, the revision affects timelines for screening, appeals, and primary elections, though specific new dates were not detailed in the initial release.

In addition to the adjusted calendar, the party issued clear directives on the sale of forms and designated specific party bank accounts approved to receive all payments related to the purchase of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.

The announcement was confirmed by Felix Morka, CON, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, in a press statement issued from the APC national headquarters in Abuja.

Political observers note that the revision allows the ruling party to fine-tune its internal processes ahead of what is expected to be a highly competitive 2027 election cycle. Further details on the updated timelines are expected to be published on the party’s official channels in the coming days.
