Asaba Set for Massive Turnout as Global Crusade with Kumuyi Begins Today

Final preparations have reached an advanced stage for the much-anticipated Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), scheduled to commence today, March 25, 2026, at the Cenotaph in Asaba, Delta State.

Organizers say logistical and technical arrangements are nearing completion, with teams working round the clock to ensure a seamless and impactful gathering expected to draw thousands of worshippers from within Delta State and neighboring regions.

At the expansive Cenotaph venue, technicians were busy installing large LED screens, high-capacity sound systems, lighting rigs, and media equipment designed to cater for both physical attendees and a global online audience.

Security personnel, medical teams, and volunteer coordinators have also finalized operational frameworks covering crowd control, welfare services, and emergency response protocols, underscoring the scale and organization behind the event.

The crusade is convened by renowned cleric, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry. The Global Crusade with Kumuyi has evolved into a major international evangelical outreach known for its focus on salvation, holiness, healing, and spiritual revival.

Organizers expressed confidence that the Asaba edition will replicate, and possibly surpass the outcomes recorded in previous host cities, where participants reported spiritual renewal, healings, and transformative personal experiences.

“Asaba is spiritually expectant,” a coordinator said. “From what we have witnessed in other centres, there is strong anticipation that this city will experience a mighty move of God. We believe souls will be saved, lives will be transformed, and destinies will be redirected.”

To ease access, transportation arrangements have been put in place to facilitate the movement of participants to and from the venue, while hospitality teams are preparing to receive guests arriving from across the country and various parts of Delta State.

The multi-day crusade will feature Bible teachings, prayer sessions, worship ministrations, and special segments addressing personal, family, and national concerns. A dedicated youth programme is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, at the Event Centre, focusing on issues affecting young people.

The event will also be broadcast live to a worldwide audience, enabling virtual participation for those unable to attend physically.

With preparations in top gear and expectations running high, Asaba stands poised to host one of the largest faith gatherings in its recent history.
