Delta Governor Hails Dein of Agbor as Monarch Turns 49

Governor Oborevwori praises traditional ruler’s visionary leadership, commitment to peace and cultural preservation

ASABA, Nigeria – Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has extended warm birthday wishes to the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Benjamin Ikenchukwu, Keagborekuzi I, CON, as the monarch celebrates his 49th birthday.

In a statement issued Monday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, the Governor commended the revered traditional ruler for what he described as exemplary leadership and significant contributions to the development of Agbor Kingdom, Delta State, and the nation at large.

Governor Oborevwori characterized the Dein as a visionary leader whose reign has been defined by peace, unity, and sustained progress, noting that the monarch’s dedication to his people’s welfare has earned him widespread admiration beyond his kingdom’s borders.

The Governor particularly highlighted the royal father’s commitment to preserving Agbor’s rich cultural heritage while simultaneously promoting development and harmonious coexistence among his subjects.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Delta State, I warmly felicitate with His Royal Majesty Benjamin Ikenchukwu, Keagborekuzi I, CON, the Dein of Agbor Kingdom, on the occasion of your 49th birth anniversary,” the Governor stated.

“You have continued to lead your people with love, wisdom and compassion, and your exemplary leadership has endeared you to your subjects and many others beyond your kingdom.”

The Governor offered prayers for the monarch’s continued health and strength, expressing hope that Almighty God would bless him with wisdom to continue providing purposeful leadership for his people.

“As you celebrate your 49th birthday, it is my prayer that Almighty God will continue to bless you with sound health, wisdom and strength to provide purposeful leadership for your people,” Oborevwori said. “I also look forward to your continued invaluable contributions to the peace, unity and development of Delta State and our nation.”

Governor Oborevwori concluded by wishing the royal father many more years of good health, divine grace, and fulfilling service to humanity.
